Mark Alan Jurgens, 67, of Kennewick passed away on November 17, 2022 in Kennewick. He was born December 24, 1954 in Milbank, South Dakota to Marcille Kasuske and Robert Jurgens.

Mark was a man who loved all aspects of the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He loved to take pictures of nature and landscapes.

Last year, he retired from American Electric after working as a procurement manager for 24 years. He was an integral part of their operations.

Mark was a very kind man, always trying to see the good in people. Always helping people. He had a loving, giving, selfless soul. He respected the value of hard work.

His family roots were important to him. Even with great distance between him and other family members, he made a point of staying connected and made sure they knew they were important to him.

Mark was preceded in death by his mom, dad and a daughter, Amanda.

Mark is survived by his children, Chris (Selena) Jurgens and Crystal (Sam) Sellers; grandchildren, Annabelle, Esten, Riley and Mason; brother, Steve; and sisters Jeannette and Diane.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St. in Kennewick, Washington.
