Margaret Pauline was born to Gus and Beulah Rittel in Des Moines Iowa on May 28, 1925. She was the sixth of eight children. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines in 1943, worked in a defense plant before joining the WAVES during WWII. She moved to Seattle to work for an insurance company in Smith Tower, there she met Dale Meiers. They married in 1947, moved to Kennewick in 1948, where they raised three children. Dale was a long time Tri-City Realtor and Pauline joined him as a realtor for a few years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, all seven brothers and sisters, and great-granddaughter Aurora. Pauline is survived by her three children, Cathie Ray Kuh, Dr. Michael Anne Meiers, Connie Steve Richardson, her eight grandchildren, Molli Jody McLaws, Raymond Pepe Kuh, Thomas Kara Kuh, Timothy Laura Kuh, Rachael Josh Graham, Joshua Tatum Richardson, Kevin and Eric Meiers, and five great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Cody, Chloe, Isabella, and Rozzilyn, and sister in-laws, Betty Rittel, Joan Rittel and Dorothy Bredal.
