Lorraine Katherine Dimond of Kennewick, WA passed away on October 14, 2010. Lorraine was born February 20, 1929 in Butte, Montana. She came to Kennewick in 1935 and has been here ever since. She was attending Kennewick High when she met her husband-to-be at a dance. She married Roland C. Dimond June 6, 1947. They had 5 children and raised them all in Kennewick. Lorraine was a homemaker who treasured her time with her children, gardening and her volunteer activities. Lorraine belonged to the First Christian Church in Kennewick. She was a life member of the Alma Chapter #100 Order of Eastern Star and of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She is survived by three children, Rev. Larry & Ann Dimond of Limerick, Ireland, Donald Dimond & Randy Dimond both of Kennewick. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland C. Dimond, her beloved son John Dimond and beloved daughter Judy Dimond. Celebration of Life services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 11:00 a.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick with viewing Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
