Leo Moss 88, loving husband, father and grandfather died November 21, 2007 at Canyon Lakes Restorative Care Facility. He was born on January 15, 1919 in Prarie Dell, Texas one of ten children born to Mr. & Mrs. John Moss. Leo married Dorothy Louise Godfrey on May 31, 1941. They had three children, Gary Moss, Dorolea Morse, and Rebecca Kenworthy. Leo proudly served his country in England during World War II as a member of the United States Air Force. Leo enjoyed gardening, stained glass work, and being a brother in the Masonic Lodge and Shrine. He was a very caring, and compassionate individual who was always available for friends and family. He had a positive impact on everyone he came in contact with and left us with warm memories we will cherish always. Leo was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy L. Moss; daughter Dorolea Morse; parents John & Mollie Moss; brothers Lester Moss, Grady Moss; sisters Velma Burditt, Zelma Barber, Winnie May Aday, Stannie Lee; and grandson Heath Moss. He is survived by son Gary and wife Kaye Moss; daughter Rebecca Kenworthy; grandsons Darren Moss, Shaun Moss, Jason and Zarife Abraham-Elliott, Joel and wife Angela Elliott, and Jeremy Powers; granddaughters Karen and husband Marc Postelwait, Nancy Morse; and five great grandchildren, Aleisha, Sydney, Daniel, Matthew, and Issac. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Columbia Basin Shrine Club or Hospice House in Kennewick. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to all of the employees of Canyon Lakes Restorative Care Facility, Dr. Wayne Kohan and nurse Kathy Dean for all their hard work and dedication. Viewing will be Tuesday, November 27th, 9am-12pm, at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 South Union Street in Kennewick with Interment at 1pm at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th & Union Street in Kennewick.
