Obituary

Lee Dean Beggs passed away on October 6, 2007 in Walla Walla, Washington. He was born May 19, 1924 in Welch, Oklahoma. Lee served in the Army and took part in the D Day invasion of Europe. He was awarded a Purple Heart for injuries and the Bronze Star for Valor. He moved to Washington State in 1947 and moved to the Tri-Cities and worked on the Dams while raising his family. He loved his family and the outdoors. Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman and a great storyteller. Lee is survived by his wife, Lillian, of Kennewick; his children, Michael Patty Beggs; Deena Turmo, Carrie Moser, Marla Sisk, Julie Homme, Ted Homme, Lorae Allen Homme- Buck; granddaughter, Natalie Beggs; numerous nephews and nieces, in-laws and many beloved friends. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11:00a.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union in Kennewick with a Graveside service to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee?s name to the First Lutheran Church, 418 N. Yelm in Kennewick, WA.
