Laurette E. Stacy The children of Laurette E. Stacy sadly announce her unexpected passing on December 9th, 2008. She passed away peacefully with her loving family present. Born on February 6th, 1925, Mom was the youngest of twelve children. Mom is survived by her children Terry Bea Martin/Stacy, Pam Gerry Hexum, Cam Bill Hardin, Shelly Glenn Mortenson, Kelly Dave Downs; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and her bother, Derwin Shirley Pryor of Yakima, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold J. Stacy; son, Tony L. Stacy; grandsons, Todd M. Hexum and Damon R. Tolliver; and ten siblings. Mom was the Matriarch Boss of our family and caregiver for those in need. She was honored to work and volunteer as Assistant Director of Activities for the past 22 years for Vista View/Canyon Lakes Restorative and Rehab. Center. She was nominated for multiple awards for her community service. The family is deeply grateful to the doctors and staff of Kadlec Medical Center ICU for their professional care and comfort. "Thank you so much." Viewing will be held Sunday, December 14th from 5:00-8:00 PM at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls located on 314 West 1st Avenue in Kennewick. Funeral Services will be held the following day, Monday at 2:00 PM. At Mom's request there will be no graveside services.
