JUANITA TURNEY born February 6, 1924 passed away July 15, 2014. Juanita was 90 years young when she passed away. She was born on Keota Oklahoma to parents Herbert Bingham and Myrtle (Mann). Preceded in death were two brothers, J B Bingham, Thurman (Sonny) Bingham and a sister Dean Bingham Cleghorn. There is one surviving sister, Donna June Duncan who lives in Keota Ok. She met her future husband (Lester Turney) at a basketball game she was playing in. He was from Stigler Ok. He passed away on July 10, 1970. She was a ferociously independent woman who loved animals of any kind. Otis and Oscar were the last two lucky dogs to be spoiled by her. Otis will be joining her on her journey. Her youngest son, Terry, lives in Denver Co. She lost the oldest son, Sammy, on August 1, 2012. Sammy and Oscar's ashes are together. She cared and loved him until he lost his courageous battle with cancer. Mom made his long fight bearable as she suffered his pains but stuck by his side diligently. She lost another son, Gary Wayne at the age of one in 1946 to cancer also. She has two grandchildren, one granddaughter, Jessie Turney, whom, just like grandma, loves animals as she raises buffalo. She lives in Springdale Wash. Her other grandchild died in 2009. He was Sammy Jr. She has a loving and wonderful daughter in law whom she adored. She is Anamarie and the feelings were mutual. There are numerous nieces and nephews---too many to name. Most of all she had her friends. They stood by her through thick and thin and all her illnesses. She talked often about how much they meant to her and how much they helped her through her life. THANK YOU! She will be missed by all and forgotten by none. A viewing will be held Monday, July 21st from 2-5PM at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, 314 W 1st Ave, Kennewick. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd at 10AM also at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls.
