After a heroic battle with cancer this past year, Jim passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and close friend. Jim was born in Heavener, OK, and moved to the Tri-Cities when he was 7 years old. He graduated from Kennewick High School in 1957. He began his electrical career with Lord Electric, where he worked for 30 years, and retired from Fluor on November 30, 2001. He was a member of the IBEW Local #112, for 45 years. He was one of four children born to the late Howard and Alice Gore and was the beloved husband of Bernice Gore for 20 years, and Kathy Gore who preceded him in death in 1988. Jim will forever be remembered by his devoted brothers Dale and Jerry and his deceased brother Donald, beloved children Wayne Gore, Teresa Mason, Sara Duncan, David Gore, Rachele Jeunnette, Crystel Roberts, Richard Davis, Christopher Davis and Steve Davis, 24 treasured grandchildren preceded by Brandon Bjorgo, 8 great grandchildren, Bonnie Hall; former wife mother of Wayne, Teresa, Sara and David and long-time friend, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Jim was one of the longest standing members remaining at the Pasco First Baptist church in Pasco, WA. Jim loved Jesus, being with his family, the cattle ranch and farm he owned for 11 years, archery, hunting, and working hard. Jim touched the lives of many people by living through Christ in example, his ready smile, and his gentle, caring and forgiving spirit. He was always available to listen to any problem, but never intervened to fix them if it wasn't his own. He maintained his sense of humour all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, December 30th, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Pasco, 1105 Road 36, Pasco, WA 99301. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick.
