Jeremy "Jay" Richardson, Gulf War Veteran and former Army Sergeant, died last Thursday, November 13, 2014, due to his long battle with PTSD. He was 43 years old. Jay is survived by his wife and soul mate, Rosie, and their son, Moises, whom he dedicated his love and life to. Also survived by his parents, John and Jean Richardson, sister Jamie Landa, son Jacob Richardson and grandson Dalyn Richardson. A dedicated family man, Jay always made time to visit and bring together the family as often as possible. The family will not be the same without his unique personality and adventurous spirit. We miss him dearly. Jay was proud to have served in the Army and espoused many traditional Army values. He was well known among the local Veteran community because of his selfless service towards others and his desire to cultivate a family within his military brothers. He was soft spoken but determined to be the best man he could be at all times. He was an artist, a writer, a believer of fairy tales, an avid gardener, an outdoor enthusiast for fishing and cartography. He loved motorcycles in the dirt and on the street and spent almost of all of his summers in the great out of doors exploring roads and trails with family. In the final days of his life, Jay found much needed love and harmony with his Rosie, and they had many adventures together with their son Moises. There were many beautiful moments that his family members have of him to remember to the end of their days, and in that way he becomes an immortal, fragile though he was.
