On August 23rd, 2015 Jesus embraced an absolute angel into his loving arms and gave her breath again. Jere was the most loving and understanding mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to all she touched and is survived by her three siblings: Judi (Clark) McKay, Jill (Richard) Lusk and James Rockwell; her seven children, Don Evanson, Rob (Lois) Evanson, Mike Evanson, Jodi (Chad) Witt, Lori Gussenhoven, Lisa Gussenhoven, and David (Jessica) Gussenhoven; along with countless grand and great grandchildren. Jere is preceded in death by her parents Col. Lloyd Rockwell, Lois (Lt. Col. Charlie) Uglum and half-sister, Lois Koch. She loved having family over for BBQ's and Holiday gatherings, as well as the California Beach. She was a Mariners fan and love crocheting afghans for all her family members. She made sure everyone had at least one blanket and others can be found all over her home. Bowling was a sport that she loved to participate in and watch. She had many wonderful memories from her years of bowling, where she worked at Oakdell Egg farms until retirement, and all of the magnificent people that touched her life. A Rosary will be held in her honor on Sunday, August 30th at 5:00 pm, viewing from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. Mass will be held Monday, August 31st at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 520 S. Garfield St., Kennewick.
