Frances Jeanne Schuler, 84, of Kennewick, Washington passed away on December 2, 2009 at Life Care Center of Kennewick, WA. She was born on April 24, 1925 to Pete and Nina Zolber in Craigmont, Idaho. Jeanne graduated from high school in 1941 at the age of 16. Jeanne attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where she met and married the love of her life, Howard A. Schuler. She played piano and sang to earn money to put her husband through dental school. They moved to Kennewick, WA with their 3 small children in 1951, and set up their dental practice. After raising her 3 children, she worked as a receptionist and dental assistant to her husband, Howard. She retired in 1988 after his death. In retirement, she worked for 15 years at Contact Crisis Response Center as a volunteer. She is survived by her brother, Bob Zolber of Lewiston, Idaho; her sister, Linda Atkinson of Seattle, WA; three 3 daughters, Lana Frank McIntire of Talkeetna, Alaska; Cindy Tom Matheson of Kennewick; Niki Tim Hunter of Seaside, CA.; Seven grandchildren, Sean Rita McIntire of Wasilla, Alaska, Cameron Erin McIntire of North Pole, Alaska, Wade Jamie McIntire of Seattle, Ben Ginger Matheson of Troutdale, OR; Sarah Matheson of Orlando FL, Jason Carli McSorley of Seattle; Seana Billy Olberg, 13 great-grandchildren, Kindra Mcintire, Conner McIntire, Dillon McIntire, Hunter Mcintire, Gunnar McIntire, Olivia & Estella McIntire twins, Jared McSorley, Devin McSorley, Corey Tellefsen, Sidney Tellefsen, Aiden Olberg, and Jonah Matheson . Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick, WA. Services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00am at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
