Dr. Janice Martin passed away peacefully in her sixtieth year after a valiant battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth Janzer. Jan will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob, her stepdaughters Giselle Confehr and Becky Martin, her granddaughter Lisa Confehr, and her brother Terry Janzer and his wife Carolynn. Jan will also be greatly missed by the many other family members, friends, patients and coworkers to whom she gave generously of her skills, her time and her love. Many thanks go to the staff of The Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick for the expert and compassionate care they gave Jan. Heartfelt appreciation also goes to the close friends and family who stayed by her side to support her through everything. Jan was inspired by her love for her husband, family and friends to fight this fight with everything she had. She was strengthened to meet every new challenge by her deep love for her husband and faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Now her fight is done and she is at peace. A viewing and Rosary Service will take place on Friday, March 21 at 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Rosary 6:00PM) at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday March 22 beginning at 2:30PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House.
