Jacqueline Christine Bender gained her angel wings on June 15, 2022 at her home in Pasco, Washington. Jackie was 73 years old.
Jackie was born to James and Margaret Wallace on January 25, 1949 in Holtville, California. She graduated from Kennewick High School in 1967. On April 2, 1977, she married the love of her life, Ralph Bender.
Jackie worked at Hanford for many years and retired to help watch her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish but moved to St. Patrick's in Pasco when she and Ralph moved to Pasco in 2012. Mom loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was happiest when surrounded by family. Jackie was the biggest fan of her grandchildren. She traveled all over the area to watch their sports and music events. She enjoyed planting flowers and even thought weeding was relaxing. Mom loved to sew and was part of a group of ladies that would get together and work on projects. Many of her grandchildren were lucky enough to receive a quilt that she had made. Mom and dad also loved their time spent camping and fishing with family and friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Wallace.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Bender and children David (Christy) Bender, Eric (Tammy) Bender, Jason (Jami) Bender, Jamie (Don) Perry, and her siblings Steve (Karin) Wallace, Mike (Deb) Wallace, and Patti (Doug) Olson.
Grandchildren: Jessica Bender (Sal), Kirsten (Dan) Hatch, Joshua Bender (Joscelyn), Tyler Wilz, Garrett (Sara) Wilz, Alex (Kyle) Brown, Jaicee, Emily, and Warren Perry.
Great Grandchildren: Dionna, Tony, Vanessa, Aalyiah, Ally, JJ, Ben, Alayna, Weston, Owen, and Milo.
She also leaves behind many relatives and great friends who meant the world to her.
