Inez was born to Melvin and Olive Farber in Wenatchee, Washington on December 30, 1924. She was the oldest of four siblings. She married James W. Poe on November 8, 1941. James and Inez operated a fruit ranch and warehouse together on Naches Heights for many years. Inez was known throughout the community for her paintings, artwork and cooking skills winning many awards. She also loved "Jeeping", rock hunting and was an avid gardener. She loved life. Inez was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, James; brothers, Darrel, Donald and Melvin Jr.; grandson, Michael Poe and her dog, Edgar. She is survived by son, James W. Poe Jr. (Bona) of Cashmere, Washington; daughter, Dianne J. Waters (Gary) of Richland, Washington; grandchildren, Kellina (Jerimiah); Cheri; William and Gene of Spokane; and Jarod (Amy) and Corbin (Amy) of the Tri-Cities along with 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and her cat, Ming. Graveside inurnment will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick.
