Herman Love was born March 19, 1931 to Will and Ida Mae Love in Oneida, Arkansas. Herman made his transition on December 10th, 2016, Pasco Washington. As a child he gave his life to Christ and became a member of St Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas. Herman began working at an early age to help support his family and in doing so he sacrificed his opportunity for an education but, he developed a strong work ethic. Looking for a change, Herman moved to Pasco Washington in the early 1990's. He was employed at Lamb Weston for many years and landed a career opportunity with Winco from which he retired after many years of service. Herman's outstanding quality was his unselfish love and commitment to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Herman is survived by a very special friend Charlene Hill of 29 years. One daughter Linda Love of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One son James Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas. One brother Walter Love of Little Rock, Arkansas. Eleven Grandkids, Keyerra Jacobs, Nikeya Schumake, Lyterell Shumake, Devotay Shumake, Briana Shumake, and Teyonna Shumake, Sister in law Dorothy Love of Elaine, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and play kids. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ida Mae Gilmore-Barela, four brothers, Eddie Love, SR, Roy Love, Robert Love and JT Love, as well as one nephew Sam Gilmore JR. Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00am at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco. The funeral service will begin at 11:00am, with interment to follow at City View Cemetery in Pasco.
