Harriett E. Haney left this world to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on July 23, 2006. She was born in Corning, Arkansas on May 22, 1928. She lived there until her family moved to Kennewick in 1940. Harriett graduated from Kennewick High School. She worked at Pischels Publishing Company, the Tri-City Herald and retired from Westinghouse in 1988. Harriett married John E. Haney who preceded her in death. They had five children, John ?Steve?, Elizabeth, Susan, Karen and Cathy. She had twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by Carroll Heckenlively whom she married in 1993. She had four stepchildren, eight step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren by this marriage. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hospice House and Drs. Amado-Cattaneo, Blanchard, Cooper and Khawandi for their care. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 9:00a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick which will be directed by Gary Benfield.
