Gene H. Wade Gen Wade, 96, passed away on October 10, 2017, at Hospice House Kennewick. He was born Kennewick on April 23, 1921 to James and Josephine Wade. He outlived his 5 siblings. He graduated from KHS in 1941. Gene was a WWII Navy Veteran. He learned his trade while in the Navy. He was a Union Sheet Metal Worker from Local 242 and 66 for over 40 years. Gene married Theo Lampson in 1946, married for 60 years until her passing in 2006. Together they had 3 children. In his retirement Gene found pleasure in all things outdoors. Especially fishing, he so loved the Columbia River and growing the Best tomatoes! Gene is survived by: Patti Wade (Ira Schmidt II) Barb Wade Steve Wade (Diane) Grandchildren: Erik Foraker, Jason Foraker, Alex Foraker, Ira Schmidt III, Ryan Wade, Kenny Wade and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home 1608 W. Court St. Pasco, WA. Graveside service will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick, WA at 1:00pm. We Love you Dad, Grandpa. We were very Blessed!!!!
