Frederic Brenton Baker passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, January 9, 2017 after a short battle with throat cancer. Fred was born November 16, 1943 to Frederic and Olwen Baker (Hudlow) in Edmonton, Alberta. He graduated from Pasco High School before serving in the US Air Force in Thailand. Fred married his wife Jacqueline in 1966 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Kennewick while attending school at Gonzaga. He retired from the WA Attorney General's Office as a Torts Claims Investigator. Fred was a huge fan of college and pro sports and loved to watch all the Seahawk and Mariner games. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 34. Fred was survived by his wife of 50 years Jacqueline, his daughters Bev Jones (Kennewick) and Char Baker (Pasco), granddaughters Miriam Haydon (Pasco) and Adriana Baker (Pasco) and his cat Missy. He was preceded in death by his parents and son in law Kent Jones. A memorial service will be held at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home on Monday, January 30th 2PM.
