Obituary

Frank E. Soden, 94, went to be with the Lord April 14, 2016. He was born January 7, 1922 in Robinson, Kansas to Charles and Bonnie (Reed) Soden. He was the second oldest of 10 children. He was a proud veteran of WWII. He married Jo Ann Dunlap on August 25, 1946 and together they raised 4 children. Frank was a Master Electrician for many years working in Ohio, California, on the building of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, on many dams in Washington, and on the 100 N area steam plant generator at Hanford. His interests throughout the years included riding horses, motorcycles, playing guitar, hunting and working on cars. He spent his retirement winters exploring the desert in Arizona. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter Shirley Dickinson, son-in-law Rudy Ringhoff, and great granddaughter Kaitlyn Soden. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jo Ann of Pasco, daughter Rita Ringhoff of Polson, MT, son Chuck (Serena) Soden of Burbank, WA, daughter Helen (Mark) Chism of Burbank, WA, son-in-law Ted Dickinson of Centralia, WA, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 3 brothers of Kansas, and many more nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick. Visitation will be held Thursday April 21, 2016 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick. The graveside inurnment will be Friday, April 22, 2016 at 1:00pm at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, in Kennewick.
