On December 26,2022 Evelyn Carol Woods was called from earth to eternal life. Evelyn was born September 09,1962 in Seattle Washington to the late Ernest Woods and the late Ollivet Woods.
Evelyn grew up in Seattle, the youngest of 6 kids. At an early age the family moved to Pasco where she continued her education from elementary all the way through high-school, graduating from Pasco Senior High Class of 1980. After high-school Evelyn put her dreams of becoming a dentist aside for a career with the Pasco post office where she worked for 20+years.
During that time she became a mother to her two boys Bryce and Beau. After working for the post office Evelyn was ready to travel and see the places she always dreamed of. Taking her to California and Hawaii. She eventually came back to Washington and settled in Olympia Washington. While there she went back to college to continue her education. Evelyn touched people everywhere she went. She was kind, caring, funny and would give you the shirt off her back. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, an aunt..
Evelyn is survived by her two sons Bryce(Jane) Philip, Beau Phillip two brothers Kenneth Woods and Edward Woods. Four nieces Kynna Woods(Charelle), Tereka Robinson(Grover), Teilor Spannaus(Shane), Tremain Chalmers- Holland(Moe), two nephews Clyde Woods, Winston Stafford, 7 grandchildren at Sarayha Torres Knox, Ziona Kennedy, Ollivae Phillip, Kendre Knox, Lili Phillip, Lila Phillip, Bryce Phillip Jr.,
12 great nieces and 1 great nephew, 3 great great nieces and 1 great great nephew, and a host of cousins, an other relatives.
She was proceeded in death by both parents, brother Anthony Woods, two sisters Deborah Woods and Carmen Woods. 1 niece Kenisha (Boo) Woods. Six uncles and three aunts.
