Ernest "Ernie" E. Page passed away January 3rd, 2009 at Hospice House in Kennewick, Washington. Ernie was born April 8, 1935 in Las Animas, Colorado to Ernest E. Page Sr and Alta Bell Click Page. At age 5 his father died his mother took Ernie and brother, Bob, to live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ernie attended school in Colorado Springs and graduated from high school in 1953. He attended Colorado A & M Colorado State University. After leaving school, he worked for an oil exploration company in the Four Corners area for a short time. He was hired to work for the Department of the Interior in Grand Junction Colorado. In 1962 he transferred to the Geological Survey in Menlo Park, California where he worked until he retired after 35 years in 1992. Upon retirement he moved to Kennewick, Washington. His last place of residence was at Charbonneau Retirement. In 1985 he joined the grange at the State Grange Session in Pasco. He was a member of Columbia Valley Grange #938 and Buena Vista Grange #415. In retirement he was a driver for Enterprise Rent-a-Car and was an avid hockey fan watching the Tri-City Americans. GO AMS! He is survived by his loving wife Norma J Richmond Page of Kennewick; sons Lansdon R. Page of Richland and Robert V wife Cathy Page of Benton City. He is also survived by brother Robert L. wife Ruth Ann Page; nephew Shane Jeanne and niece Pamela, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephew Brian Debbie of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; several great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Burial will be private. An informal memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10th, 2009, 11:00am, at the Columbia Valley Grange Hall in Pasco at the corner of Rd 64 and Court Street. A potluck dinner will be served after the memorial. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice House, 2108 W.
