Eloisa "Locha" Martinez Rivas was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this earthly world on December 8, 2021, at age 85 at home surrounded by family in Pasco, WA. She was born to Santos and Theodora Martinez on May 6, 1936, in Eagle Pass, TX. Relocating to Washington in the 1940's. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Telling stories of her childhood and life experiences, listening to music of all genres, singing and dancing were her favorite past time activities. She was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Patrick Parish in Pasco, WA. Eloisa surrounded herself with many friends and family and was a very well-known member of the community. She spent most days attending mass or events with The Guadalupana's, and The Catholic Daughters of America. She is proceeded in death by her parents, late husband (Juan Rivas), her oldest son (Armando Martinez) and Siblings (Elias Martinez, Jose Martinez, Enrique Martinez, Ruben Martinez, and Guadalupe Perez). She is survived by her 2 sisters (Maria Jesus Espinoza and Carmen Ochoa), 13 children (& spouses), 43 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be held December 15th at 6pm at the Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home, Pasco, WA 99301. Funeral service is scheduled for 10 am on December 16, 2021 at St. Patrick Parish- 1320 W Henry St, Pasco, WA. Burial to follow at Prosser cemetery- 1601 Paterson Rd, Prosser, WA.
