Edward Paul "Ted" Larsen passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011, of natural causes in Kennewick, at the age of 94. He was born in Paul, Idaho, to William C. and Elizabeth Larsen on December 5, 1916. Ted was a graduate of Prosser High School, and also attended school in Pasco. He married Anna G. "Peggy" Jacobsen 73 years ago on June 4, 1938. Their children are Eugene W. Larsen Lois, dec'd and Dorothy Larsen Yount; son-in-law Kenneth Yount; grandchildren Tim, wife Julie; Tom, wife Dee Ann; Tracy, wife Katie Yount; Sheryl Smith, husband Lee Smith; and Mark Larsen; great-grands Amy Dan, Kelly Cody, Tyler, Megan, Taylor, Jack, Max, and Paige Yount; his sister, Patricia Daniel Elledge; sister-in-law Florence Don, dec'd Walch; niece Loretta Frank Powell; nephews Allan Mary Walch, Darrel "Bud" MaryAnn Larsen; Bill "Mac" Ann Larsen; Bob Jacobsen of Vancouver, Jim Jacobsen, Jon Jacobsen, Keith Nicholsen; niece Virginia Jacobsen, and many grand-nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a WWII veteran, farmer, previously worked for Pasco Auto and Murphy Chevrolet; retired from Kaiser Cement in Portland, and returned to the Tri-Cities in 1993. Ted and Peggy enjoyed their horses, traveling, flower gardening, square dancing and their many grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011, 1:00 P.M., at Riverview Heights Cemetery, 1200 South Olympia, Kennewick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or a favorite charity.
