Earl Eugene Dubes, 69, died February 10, 2010 at his home in Benton City, Washington. He was born June 24th, 1940, the son of Elmer and Ethel Dubes of Kettle Falls, Washington. Earl proudly served his country in the US Navy for eight years. Earl met the love of his life, Barbara, in 1977 and they have been married for 30 years. Earl retired from Hanford in 1996. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, spending time at "the office" with his many friends and playing pool. Earl is survived by his wife, Barbara, sons Troy, Bill and Christofer, daughters, Toby and Teresa, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as brother, Ervin, and sisters, Ellen and Elaine. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eric. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to Hospice at The Chaplaincy, 2108 West Entiat Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 27th, at the Benton City American Legion from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
