Dwain G. Lester, 77, of Pasco, WA. passed away quietly in his home on August 16, 2007. Many of his friends knew him as ?Red?. He was the only son of Denver and Blanche Lester. He was born February 28, 1930 in Kennewick, WA and married his beloved wife Anna Kanouse on March 29, 1947. They enjoyed their trips to Reno and celebrated a 60th wedding anniversary with family there this year. Dwain was a member of the Operative Plasterers? and Cement Masons? International Association Local 478 for 41 years. During that time he worked on Lower Monumental and Ice Harbor dams; volunteered work at the Hospice at The Chaplaincy; and you have probably seen him at numerous other construction sites silently helping to build the Tri-Cities. Dwain is survived by his loving wife Anna; his oldest son Michael wife Sheryl, son Jared; his middle son Allen; his youngest son Jeffrey wife Sandra, son Connor, daughter Megan; his aunt Wilmuth Williams; his Aunt Leta Conway husband Ray; his cousin Ruth Dixon and his cousin Mildred Norfolk. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2007, at Riverview Heights Cemetery, 1200 S. Olympia, Kennewick, WA.
