Duane Eugene Taber, 92, passed away in Pasco on February 17, 2018. He was born to Jesse and Edith Taber on March 26, 1925 and Pasco was his lifelong hometown. Duane served two and a half years in the Navy during World War II and then studied law at the University of Washington, graduating in 1952. He was a prestigious trial attorney for 29 years and a Superior Court judge for 15 years before retiring from the bench in 1996. Duane served on numerous community committees and was active in the Pasco Kiwanis Club for over 40 years. He lost his wife of 65 years, Carolyn "Carey" Taber in 2013. Duane is survived by his three children, Jay Taber, Christy Miller, and Mary Krismunando. Duane has four grandchildren; Nick Krismunando, Tiara Krismunando, Kelly Miller, and Ka'iulani Krismunando as well as three great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco, Washington.
