Douglas Arne Dahl - 62, died Friday evening July 29, 2011, at Hospice House in Kennewick, WA, after a courageous and hard fought battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. Doug was born March 7, 1949, in Cando, North Dakota. He was the son of I. Arne and Eileen Mountain Dahl. He graduated from Pasco High School 1967, Washington State University in 1972 and received his MBA from Nova University. On August 15, 1970, Doug married Terry Puccio in Kennewick, WA. Doug lived in Kennewick, WA and worked at Battelle as a Project Manager for the International Division of the Global Threat Reduction Initiative. He was also a member of the Cathedral of Joy Church for 37 years. Doug Dahl was a man that touched every life he was a part of and is described by words such as 'quick wit' 'great sense of humor' 'amazing man who lived life fully' 'Great strength' 'Wonderful family values' 'Best Friend' and 'The Greatest Husband and Dad'. He Touched You Last! Doug Dahl is survived by his wife Terry Dahl, daughter Shawn Dahl Woodford husband Terry Woodford, son Jeremy Dahl wife Tiffani Dahl; brothers Dennis Dahl and Robert Dahl, as well as 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his dog Sara. He was preceded in death by his parents Arne and Eileen Dahl, and a sister Trudy Dahl Dockstader. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011, at the Cathedral of Joy, 1153 Gage Blvd, Richland, WA. A reception will follow at the church.
