Our loving mother passed away peacefully Aug. 14, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born Sept, 14, 1922 in American Fork, Utah, the daughter of Polly Colton and Charles LeRoy Dudley. Dorothy graduated from American Fork High School, class of 1940. In 1941 Dorothy married the love of her life, Carl W. Wiberg in Provo, Utah. In October of 1946 they moved to be by her family and find work in Pasco WA. They moved to Kennewick in 1963. In 1977 they moved to Toppenish, WA and moved back to Kennewick in 1982. Dorothy loved to be around family, loved to read, and do genealogy. She loved her flower garden, and County music, she liked to go camping and fishing with Carl and family. Dorothy enjoyed making ceramics especially doing "clay lifting, which many family and friends were the beneficiaries of her beautiful work. Dorothy and Carl were married for over 66 years and sealed for "Time and all Eternity" in the Cardston, Alberta Temple on September 1st, 1965. They were members of the LDS Southgate Ward in Kennewick. She leaves behind her children Jerry C. Brenda, Pat Rusk, Jim, and Kevin L. Kaele of Kennewick, John D. Leslie, Dana W Debbie of Richland, Tim L. Ralene of Boise, Idaho and Lisa Morrison Ritchie of Las Vegas, NV; 45 grandchildren; 79 great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Edwards, of Kennewick, WA, Marian Campbell of Bremerton, WA. and Betty Hayes of Highland, Utah. Preceding her in death was her husband Carl; mother Polly; father; Roy, brothers; Richard Burnell and Harvey, and sister Lorraine McCurry. The family would like to express many thanks to Avalon Health care, for the wonderful care and kindness given to Dorothy the last two and a half years. There will be a viewing held at 10:00am Friday the 21st with the service following at 11:00am at the LDS Union building, 515 S. Union Street in Kennewick with interment at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
