Doris L. Davis, age 79, passed away on January 18, 2008. She was born January 19, 1928 in Cottle County, Texas to Acie and Lydia Davis. Doris married Murry A. Davis in 1945 and had three children. Doris worked in the Portland shipyards during WW II and was active in the Independent Order of Foresters. She enjoyed square dancing and never stopped tapping her toes to the music. She also enjoyed bowling and bowled well into her 70's. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty nine years, Murry Davis; her son, James Paul Davis; granddaughter, Tina Boothe; sons-in-laws Robert Boothe and Lawrence Stander. Doris is survived by daughters, Donita Boothe Maple Valley, WA and Carol Stander Renton, WA; daughter-in-law, Clariette Davis Centralia, WA; grandchildren, Kim Lawrence Phoenix, AZ, Janell Barneburg Crescent City, CA and Chris Boothe Maple Valley, WA; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Davis Gresham, OR; sisters, Bernice Terry CA and Marie Gott Portland, OR and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial service will be held on January 23, 2008 at 2:00p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union in Kennewick, WA.
