Donna V. Beauchamp, age 78 of Kennewick, WA, went home to her Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2014. She was born in Everett, PA on October 6, 1935 to Donald Karns Gienger and Vera (Neglay) Gienger. She grew up in Everett, PA where her mother and father owned and operated a hotel/restaurant. Donna moved to Washington in 1947 and settled in Pasco, WA where she attended school. In 1965 she married her husband of 48 years, Raymond H. Beauchamp. Together they raised a blended family of eight children: Roger Sargent of Richland, WA, Monty (Jeannie) Beauchamp of San Diego, CA, Marty (Tiffany) Beauchamp of Kennewick, WA, Jerry (Debbie) Rosane of Kennewick, WA, Vicki Nelson of Kennewick, WA, Lora (Michael) Pearson of Kennewick, WA, Diane Bolliger of San Diego, CA and Julie (John) Kranz of Pasco, WA. Donna was a loving grandmother to eight: Leah Jensen, Tyler Jensen, Kassi Hastings, Tara Ryan, Michael Riddell, Patricia Bolliger, Connor Rosane, and Caitlyn Rosane. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Carson, Evan, Tristan, and Melody. Other survivors include her sister Jackie (Robert) Graham of Pasco, WA, aunt Roma Appleyard of Kennewick, WA, brother-in-law Melvin (Marge) Beauchamp of Marysville, WA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and home were Donna's greatest joys in life. She was a homemaker and her greatest accomplishment was the raising of her children and creating a loving home. Donna loved her grandchildren and took great pleasure in making memories with each of them. Donna had a love for music and dance. She taught herself at a young age to play the piano. Her husband Ray was a musician and she loved to hear him play his steel guitar. Donna was a huge Mariners fan and never missed a game. Donna will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a strong woman who fought her battle with cancer with grace and a fierce determination. Viewing will be held Thursday, January 16th, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 17th, 10:00 a.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. A reception will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's name to Hospice at The Chaplaincy, 1480 Fowler Street, Richland, WA 99352.
