Don passed away peacefully March 22, 2022 at home with his 3 children by his side. He was born on July 5th 1941 in Pasco WA. to Howard & Elizabeth Horntvedt. Don is survived by his Sister, Karen Overholt, children, LaDonna (Brett) Smith, Lance (Sue) Horntvedt, Melissa (Lester) Mehrer and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Don was a proud member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 598 and a friend of Bill W's for 48 years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2,2022 at 10am at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick. There will be no viewing or grave side service and we will celebrate his life after the memorial service at the Tri-City Alano Club at 102 E Kennewick Ave, Kennewick WA 99336, between 11:30 and 1:30pm. Refreshments will be provided. In lieu of flowers all donations can be sent to Benton County PUD, Helping Hands, at P.O. Box 6270, 2721 W 10th Ave, Kennewick WA 99336 in Donald Horntvedt's name.
