Donald L. Carter passed away on October 9, 2013. He was born to James W. and Magdalena M. Carter on January 24, 1936 in Tacoma, Washington. Donald was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Pasco High in 1954. He worked for the Pasco Fire Department for 15 ½ years and worked for Franklin County as Fire Marshal for 17 years. He is survived by 3 nieces, Patti Carter Guest, Sandy Carter, Cindy Carter and one nephew Kurt Carter; stepdaughter Kathy Richardson of Pasco, Washington and Grandson Wade Richardson and his wife Darcy, of West Richland; stepson Robert J Hosko, Jr. and granddaughters Bobbi Jean and Sara Hosko of Kennewick. Don was preceded in death by his wife Emagene (Genie) Carter, father and mother and brothers Louis and James J. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
