In Loving Memory of Donald Ray Jackson, 74, of Pasco, went home on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at V.A. Hospital in Seattle. Donald was the third of four sons born to Harry M. and Phyllis E. M. Jackson of Goldendale, Washington on December 18, 1933. He graduated in 1952 from Goldendale High and immediately enlisted into the United States Navy. In 1959 Donald married the love of his life Masako Oda at the United States Consulate in Fukuoka, Japan. After his Naval retirement in 1975, he moved to Pasco, Washington with his family. With the support of his family, Donald attended Columbia Basin College receiving his Associates degree, which allowed him to become a Dietary Manager until his retirement 1997. Donald is survived by his wife, Masako; his sons John A. Jackson, of Tacoma; David R. Jackson, and his wife; Oleta of Pasco; daughter Patricia M. Dahlke, and her husband; Byron of Pasco; brother Merle Jackson, and his wife Judy of Redmond, Oregon; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
