Our loving mother, best friend and grandmother Delores Isabelle Razor, 78, of Kennewick left us cradled in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, Monday, March 8, 2010. Delores was born in Walla Walla on September 10, 1931 to Floyd and Leota VanHollebeke. She grew up on her families? farm in North Franklin County. She was proud to be a VanHollebeke and was happy to tell stories about growing up on the farm ? from driving truck during harvest, rounding up the cattle and helping her mother pluck chickens for dinner. She attended Star School grades 1-8 and graduated from Pasco High School in 1948. She married Hubert Razor August 31st 1949 settling in Kennewick in 1964 after a series of moves between Washington and California. Mom worked at Horribin Ford in Pasco and then for the Benton County Juvenile Justice Center for 25 years where many life long friends were made. She went from adding machine and columnar pad to computer spreadsheets retiring in 1994 after balancing the budget all those years. After retiring, she spent her time supporting the Tri-City Americans she was the one with the gold and black fingernails, player buttons on her shirt and bag of bells, cushions and other team paraphernalia when they first came to town. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the highlight of her life, babysitting, hanging out and attending sporting and academic events. She enjoyed quilting, dancing and attending Dixie Land Jazz Festivals. She attended Red Hat Ladies, was a member of Eagles and the Tri-City Jazz Society. She is survived by her children Denise Rickel, Lori Smith and Cameron Razor Lucy, Louise William VanHollebeke Tidwell, sister, numerous nieces & nephews. Grandchildren Jennifer Brown Steve, Kris Smith, Jordan Smith, Debra Iniguez Eric, Mathew Johnston, Stacey Razor, Jenna Maiden and Corrinne Razor. Great-Grandchildren Chayce Sorbel, Haylee, Cody, and Helyn Brown, Camden and Brayden Iniguez and Jordan Reisenauer. Preceded in death by husband Hubert, brother Floyd VanHollebeke Jr. and sister Phillis VanHollebeke Needles. Viewing will be Friday, March 12th, 5pm to 8pm, and funeral services Saturday, 10:00am, at Mueller?s Chapel of the Falls, 314 West 1st Avenue, Kennewick with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
