DAVID WAYNE WRIGHT 03/09/1943 – 4/29/2021 Beloved father, brother, son, and uncle. He was "Pops" to the family. After a battle with COPD and other health issues, he went to heaven, passing away peacefully in his sleep. David started playing baseball at a young age and continued playing into his thirties at the semi-pro level. He was a lifelong Mariners fan. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed catching steelhead on the Cowlitz River. He loved telling story after story of the "Big One" he caught. He will be greatly missed. David is survived by son's John, David and Sean, daughter Yvonne, grandson Tyus, and brothers Johnny, Dean, and 18 grand children. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Maxine Wright, and father, John Frank Wright. Also by brother, Tom Wright, and sister, Olleen Lewis.
