Dan H. Collins, age 87, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 2nd, 2010 at Kennewick General Hospital. He was born on February 9, 1923 in Kalispell, Montana to John and Alma Collins. Dan graduated from Wallace High School in 1941. He joined the Navy in 1943 and served on the USS Greer as an electrician. Dan married Martha Adams in December 1962 and made their home in Kennewick, Washington. His career in life was in the lumber industry. He was a 50-year Scottish Rite Mason member. He is survived by his wife Marty of 47 1/2 years, son Richard, daughters Peggy Nichols and Audrey Petersen, sister Lorraine Miller, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Allan and sister Vonnie. Celebration of Life services will be held on Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Living Room Church, 711 Vineyard Drive, Kennewick with reception to follow.
