Obituary

Clair Dwayne Reed passed away August 12, 2009 in Kennewick, WA after a long illness. He was born September 24, 1930 in Bayfield County, WI to Benjamin and Mary Reed and was the youngest of seven children. Clair served his country with honor in Korea as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a papermaker in Idaho, Oregon, North Carolina and Washington and retired from Boise Cascade in 1992. Clair loved hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed cheering on his beloved Mariners and Cougars each season. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother Al; and sisters Leila and Leance. He is survived by his wife Cecile, daughter Renee, son-in-law Todd, and grandson Joshua; his sisters Jean and Vena; his brother John; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union in Kennewick with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 pm at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
