Obituary

Charles (Chuck) Leonard Parks was born March 30, 1968 in Malden, Massachusetts to Lois and Paul Parks. He passed away on March 7, 2013 while surrounded by his loved ones. He graduated from Pasco High School in 1986. He joined the Washington National Guard in 1989 as a member of the 1-303rd Armor Brigade and served for 18 yrs with one tour of duty to Iraq in 2004/5. He also served fighting the famous forest fires in Wenatchee in 1994/95 and went to help out in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2006/7. Charles loved to go sturgeon fishing, have family BBQ's, play Friday night "game nights" with his nephews and niece, spending time with his son, Mikey and granddaughter, Azelia and watching his daughter Cheyenne in her band and drama plays in school. But most of all he enjoyed going to summer rock concerts with his lovely wife Carrie. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Lois and Paul Parks. He is survived by his wife of 19 years Carrie Parks, his two children Michael Aaron and Cheyenne Katelyn; granddaughter Azelia Luz; siblings David Parks (Montana), Dianna Urban (Illinois) and Christopher Parks (California); brothers and sisters-in-law Grover Jr/Sandra Kerr (Pasco), Mario/Mari Kerr (Kennewick) and Samantha Kerr (Othello); and several nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Viewing will be held at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5-8pm and funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1pm with graveside burial following at City View Cemetery in Pasco.
