Charlene Gervais, 75, of Kennewick WA, passed Tuesday, March 27th 2018 surrounded by immediate family. Charlene was born November 16th, 1942 in Tacoma, WA. She grew up with four sisters and one brother. She married Joseph Gervais May 28th, 1960. They lived together in Tacoma and had 3 kids; Joey, Cindy and Steven. Charlene took great pride in raising her family and taking care of husband Joe. They moved to Richland in 1967 when Joe took a job at Hanford. During the 60 years with Joe, she lived a full and happy life accompanying him on hunting and fishing trips and to many social events. She always enjoyed preparing delicious home-cooked meals and specialty German dishes for those close to her. They moved to Kennewick in 1974. Daughter Cindy married and gave her two grandsons, Drew and Dalton Ivey. Charlene was always a major part in raising her two grandsons. Tragedy struck the family when their two sons passed. Charlene persevered through her heartbreak showing unconditional love and care. She was always loved and admired for her delightful personality by everyone who met her. Charlene is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Cindy, Son-in-law Dan Ivey and two grandsons Drew and Dalton Ivey. Charlene's memorial service will be held Saturday April 7th, 2:00pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home with graveside and reception after.
