Obituary

Caroline 79 was called home to be with her Lord on Christmas Day, surrounded by her loved ones. Caroline was born in Appleton, Minnesota to Clarence and Meta (Rau) Eliason. She was the second of four daughters. At an early age her family moved from Appleton, Minnesota, to Inglewood, California. In March of 1955 Caroline married the love of her life James W. Baxter Sr. In 1984 James and Caroline moved to Kennewick, Washington from Bend, Oregon. Caroline loved working in her yard and gardening. She had a great passion for raising livestock, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her other passion was her great-grandchild Kyrstyn. Kyrstyn put a twinkle in her eye; she loved this little girl to the moon and back. Caroline is survived by her sisters Katherine Platzer (Richard) and Marilyn Frankfurt (Gary), her children, Debbie Bartholomew (Bill), James Baxter Jr. (Magdalena), and Paul Baxter. Caroline is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristina Abell (Kevin), James Bartholomew, Kathryn Bartholomew, Steven Bartholomew, James E. Baxter and great-granddaughter Kyrstyn Abell. Caroline is preceded by her husband James Baxter Sr., parents, Clarence and Meta Eliason and sister Elaine Seifert. Caroline is now reunited with her beloved husband James on God's most special day for all Eternity. Caroline will be missed by all who loved her, here on earth. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013, 1:00 P.M. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Kennewick, Washington. Viewing will be Saturday from 11:00 to 1:00 at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, adjacent to the cemetery.
