Obituary

Carol Lee Denbow Yoyo, 61, of Pasco, WA, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2008, in Pasco, Washington with her family at her side. She was a resident of the Tri-Cities for the last 15 years. She was born on February 6, 1947, in California, to John and Gladys Stokey. She married Paul Denbow, November 11, 1967, in California. She loved her family with the most devotion that a wife and mother could have. Her greatest pleasures were to watch her three grandsons play sports, to watch her son bowl and to do many arts and crafts with her daughter. She was an avid food channel watcher. One of her hobbies was to make winter hats, scarves and blankets for her family. She was always willing to do anything for her family, friends or anyone in need, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Paul Denbow; son John Denbow; daughter and son-in-law, Caroline Denbow and Dino Gilmour; three grandchildren Paul, Joseph and Jonathan Gilmour; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Dale Blackketter; brother, Wes Stokey; nephew and his wife, Robert and Michelle Blackketter; niece and her husband Kim and Robert Hosfield; great nieces Amanda and Brittany Blackketter and great nephews Christopher Blackketter, Michael and Daniel Hosfield. She is also survived by her extended family, Stephani and Julio Alameda and their four children, Faith, Josh, Yvonne and Ryan. She is also survived by numerous relatives living in California and Ohio. She was preceded in death by her great nephew Matthew Blackketter and her parents John and Gladys Stokey. A viewing will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2008, from 5 to 8pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 14th & Union Street in Kennewick, Washington. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008, at 11 a.m. Desert Lawn Memorial Park 10th and Union Street.
