Betty N. Rounds Brown, 83 died March 16, 2008 in Kennewick, WA. Betty passed away at home with dignity and grace after a courageous battle with bladder cancer. She was born December 19, 1924 in Ogden, UT to Harold C. and Elsie M. Nicholas. She married Hugh G. Rounds in 1946 in Annapolis, Maryland, married for 41 years until his death in 1987. She married Robert C. Brown in 1993. Betty lived an active lifestyle in both Ogden, UT and Kennewick, WA as an avid golfer and bridge player. She was a member of the Tri-City Country Club and PEO in Kennewick and former member of the Ogden Golf and Country Club. She is survived by her husband Bob, sons Scott Lani Rounds, Roy, UT, Steven Mary Catherine Rounds, Firth, ID, daughter Becky Chuck Blank, Sparks, NV, sons Greg Brown, Richland, WA, Jerry Brown, Bellevue, WA, daughter Nancy John Odegard, Mercer Island, WA, six grandchildren Nicholas Christiansen, Cody Beth Rodgers, Blaike Hendry, Ambria Lamb, Alexi and Tatum Odegard, one great-grandson Kayden Rodgers, two sisters Annette Richards, Fielding, UT and Norma McKee, Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Harold Nicholas and granddaughter Alyson Christiansen. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 22, from 3:00pm - 5:00pm, at the Tri-Cities Country Club, 314 N. Underwood in Kennewick. Inurnment will be in the Aultorest Memorial Park, Ogden, UT.
