Betty C. Bailey was born on October 28th, 1930 to Valborg and Sofus Christensen in Pine County, Minnesota. She passed away July 29th, 2012, at the age of 81. Betty was married to Lauren C. Bailey for over 27 years. She was raised in Askov, Minnesota on a small farm where she helped her father and brother Carl. Betty was an avid reader and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Her other passions included gardening, crocheting and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Betty Bailey is survived by her sister Irene Ellison; daughter Laurie and Darrin Clements; grandchildren Angel and Leroy Knight, Kim and Casey Pierce, Nicole and Roger Russell; and great grandchildren Jake and Brandi Knight and Olivia Pierce. The family of Betty Bailey wishes to express their sincere thanks to all of the compassionate individuals from Callaway Gardens and Lower Valley Hospice for their comfort and support in the last chapter of her wonderful life. Funeral services will be Friday, August 3rd, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick, with viewing on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
