Bertha Louise Roper Beloved Wife, Mother and Friend, age 83, was born to Patrick Franklin Dillon and Gertrude Mae Robinson Dillon on June 16, 1922 in Mooreland, Oklahoma. Growing up in Oklahoma she met the love of her life, Milton P. Roper, and they married January 9, 1939. They moved to Kennewick, Washington in 1942, spending a long and happy 67 years together. Bertha retired from the Bon Marche? in 1987. Survivors include her husband; Milt Roper and their three children: Son, Eugene Roper and wife Lynda of California; Son, Randy Roper and wife Sue of Kennewick; Daughter, Delane Roper Irvin and husband Jerry of Kennewick; 7 grandchildren, Allen Payne, Teresa Payne, Robin Hendrickson, Lanny Roper, Tiffy Oldham, Amber Roper and Rania Irvin; 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home.
