Ara Jacqueline Johnson (Jackie Imes), 54, went home to heaven on 4 July, 2018. She was the best wife, mother, daughter, and friend! She will be sadly missed, but only for a time. Jackie was the daughter of Virgil and Pearl Imes of Okanagon, WA; the baby of 4 children. Born May 04, 1964 in Brewster, WA. She was raised in Twisp, WA and graduated from Liberty Bell High School in 1982. She went on to attend ITT Petersen Computer College in Seattle. Later, while working at Watkins and Shepherd trucking in Pasco, God's timing and a little match making from some dear rodeo friends brought her and Erik together. They were married April 10, 1999 in Kennewick. Together, by the Lord's grace they are raising/have raised 3 beautiful God fearing children; Tiegan (18), Tessa (16), Traver (14). Jackie was a teacher at heart, more concerned about the welfare of her family than her own. She home schooled their kids, taught them to read, write, solve math problems and explore the beauty of God's word. Jackie's smile and laugh could penetrate even the thickest skin. Her passion, determination, and resolve were greatest attributes. Following in her grandpa Clair Imes' and dad Virgil's footsteps, she loved to ride, barrel race, and train horses. She passed this unique gift on to her children as they continue to spend hours in the saddle. Her favorite place was in our arena spending time horseback with her family. Preceded in death by brother John Lee Imes of Denver, CO. Survived by brother Dale Stanley (Diane Silflow) Imes of Newman Lake, WA; 3 children: TC (Carolyn), Jared (Alisha), and Jenna. Sister DeeAnne Marie (John Anthony) Amas, Waianae, HI Jackie's celebration of life will be at Country Christian Center in Pasco, WA at 11:00 a.m. on July 28, 2018, with a reception for the family to follow. Pastor Doug Ferris (Chinook Baptist Church, Pasco) will be officiating the service. The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Chinook Baptist Church Missions, 1910 Auburn Rd, Pasco, WA 99301
