Anna Lucille Hinkson, loving wife, mother and grandmother, was born March 15, 1923 in Superior, Nebraska and passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Anna grew up in Superior, where she met and married Allen H. Hinkson on June 17, 1940. They moved to Western Washington in the early 1940's, living in Vale, where sons Gary and John were born in Centralia in 1943 and 1944. In 1944 the family moved to the Tri-Cities where they remained for the rest of their lives and daughter Joan was born in Richland in 1952. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Allen, and her parents John and Mary Skogreen. She is survived by sons Gary Hinkson and John Hinkson; daughter Joan Jordan; grandchildren Clint Jordan, Joey Jordan, Ryan Hinkson, Karey Hinkson, Amy Rasmussen; brother-in-law Don Hinkson Wanda; sister-in-law Hope Pace Gresham; and several nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hawthorne Court Assisted Living in Kennewick for the care and kindness they gave to our mom, Anna, who remained a lady to the end of her journey. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick.
