Anna "Ann" B. House died peacefully on September 22, 2016 in Kennewick Washington at the age of 90 of congestive heart failure. Ann was born January 24, 1926 to Thomas Odgers and Eva Pilot. She was raised in Durango Colorado and attended the University of Colorado where she met her future husband, Howard A. House. They were married August 8, 1945 in a ceremony in Durango. Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She attended First Lutheran Church of Kennewick for many years and was a member of the Alter Guild. Through the years Ann and Howard enjoyed camping, bird watching, going south in the winter months to Arizona and spending time at their cabin on Lake Pend Oreille Idaho. Ann spent many happy hours early in her marriage with her sewing club and later playing bridge with her friends. She loved to garden and will be remembered for her beautiful roses as well as the German chocolate cakes she baked for birthdays. She especially liked to celebrate Thanksgiving with the entire family. Ann is survived by her husband of 71 years Howard A. House, children Frances Williams (John), Jean Thomas and F. Allen House (Tammy) and grandchildren Elizabeth Hagan (Breen), Davin Perry, Braedon House and Rianna House. She was always there for her family and she will be deeply missed. Services will be private
