Angelica "Angie" Puente of Kennewick, Washington peacefully passed on January 28th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Angie was born in Weslaco, TX to Lindolfo and Elvira Puente before settling in the Tri-Cities in 1959. She attended Kennewick High School and was a part of Class '77. In Angie's early years, she worked hard in the agriculture fields of Eastern, WA alongside her parents and siblings, before securing employment at Columbia Basin College. For the last 31 years, CBC became Angie's 2nd family, where she made many everlasting friendships. Some of her fondest times were attending company BBQs and annual summer plays with her family. She loved a good concert and jamming to Live bands or dancing to Tejano music. Angie frequently traveled with her sisters and children on memorable vacations and had a love for nature. You could catch Angie fishing, camping, BBQing, or most importantly of all, creating memories with her family. Angie raised a loving son, Angel Venegas, and three beautiful daughters, Elizabeth Venegas, Evett Mariscal, and Mercedes Juliette Mariscal, who will continue to carry on her legacy of kindness and love. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, always instilling her strong Faith in all of them. Her grandchildren will forever remember their traditions of making s'mores, taco pizzas, enchiladas, and carving pumpkins. Her children will forever remember their bike rides through Parkade, late-night cruises, spontaneous road trips, and summer walks. Angie is survived by her Mother, Elvira Puente, and children Angel Venegas (Lubica), Elizabeth Venegas, Evett Mariscal, and Mercedes Juliette Mariscal. Her grandchildren Anthony Sanchez, Valeria Sanchez, Lexus-Aaliyah Sanchez, Christal Sanchez, Lukas Venegas, Rizzo Ramirez, Marcus Venegas, and Remi Ramirez. Her Siblings Maria Martinez (Homero), Jesse Puente, Eva Salamanca (Robert), Susie Sanchez, and Patricia Puente-Martinez; and numerous nephews and nieces who loved her dearly. She was welcomed in God's warm, glory and embraced by her Father, Lindolfo Puente; sister, Martha "Monica" Puente Coria; and brother, David Puente. Angie will forever be remembered for holding her own, her love for life, contagious smile, and free spirit. Although our hearts are broken, we'll forever cherish all the memories and laughter shared.
