Alvina B. Malloy, 97 of Kennewick, peacefully went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Quail Hollow in Richland. Alvina was born December 17, 1916 on a farm in Crookston, Nebraska to Henry and Amanda Straub. She moved to the Tri-Cities in 1943 with her husband and children. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Alvina was preceded in death by her husband Joe, an infant son Bernard and her two sisters Louise and Marie. She is survived by son, Jerry (Karen) Malloy of Kennewick, WA; daughter, Gloria (Gary) Lawrence of Richland, WA; and son, Dennis (Lory) Malloy of Longview, WA. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Kathy, Patti, Mark, Lori, Scott, Kelsey, Shannon and twelve great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 12:00 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1st, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A reception will follow in Dillon Hall.
