Alta Louise Axford passed away on February 11, 2008. She was born May 15, 1921 to Samuel and Frieda Groff at home in a small town in Michigan. They moved to Pasco, Washington in 1951 where they raised a family and started a very busy and successful medical practice. They worked together for 40 years. During that time, Alta was very involved in civic, school and church activities. Alta was brilliant, thoughtful and very generous with her time and money. She was well respected and loved for her high level of integrity, intelligence, leadership and deep spiritual values. She had many talents and passions, which included photography, camping, nature, reading and travel. She is survived by her 3 children, Paul, Cheryl and Judy, and 5 grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. If you wish to make a donation, Alta would love support to go to the Pathfinders.
